You’d be forgiven for thinking Sin City is all about casino gambling, debauchery, and pool parties. You would be wrong — amidst all those flashy neon lights, penny slots, and partying sprees, Las Vegas has a bounty of Instagram-worthy spots dying to be photographed.

That’s right; if you want to spruce up your Instagram feed with eye-catching photos, head to Las Vegas, and get snapping. With many natural desert landscapes, murals, picturesque art installations, and lavish-themed resort hotels, the Entertainment Capital of the World have plenty to offer beyond pool parties, slot machines, and drive-thru weddings.

Travelers, locals, and tourists gravitate towards these photogenic spots for serious photo ops. And this should come as no big surprise, given how stunningly beautiful these spots look on their own or with people posing in front of them.

To help you plan your next trip to The Strip, we have rounded up the best Instagram spots in Las Vegas. All of these attractions are so pretty you’d think they were made with Instagram hashtags in mind, and yes, they’re as enjoyable to be there as they look. Which of these Las Vegas gems will appear on your Instagram feed next?

1- MGM Grand

Address: 3799 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

In almost all respects, MGM Grand is the true epitome of only-in-Vegas grandiose extravagance and nightlife that we have come to envy. Thematically, however, the Grand (as frequenters often refer to it) borrows heavily from Hollywood themes, especially regarding shows, interior décor, and entertainment.

The hotel labyrinthine has plenty of stunning spots to pose with for the ‘Gram. If you’re a big fan of statues, the massive 45-square-foot, 100,000-pound lion bronze bedecked at the casino entrance will light up your Instagram feed. The computerized fountains, flashing LED super-screens, and the 54,500-square-foot mega pool are other notable spots to snap wow-inspiring photos.

However, no trip to MGM Grand is complete without posing beside the 8,000-foot lazy river (deemed the longest in The Strip) that passes below bridges through mesmerizing waterfalls and meanders around the pools.

Once you’re tired of snapping photos, the Grand has many other things to see or experience while in Las Vegas. Go ahead and enter the casino complex to try your luck at the tables, take free poker lessons, or get a little pampering from the table-side masseuses.

That’s not even close to all; be sure to check out other attractions, including Cirque du Soleil’s (a dance show inspired by martial arts), Hakkasan nightclub, and the Garden Arena. Here, you’ll also be able to take a couple of pictures for social media.

2- New York New York

New York New York

Address: 3790 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

Featuring thirteen on-site restaurants, a full-turn adrenaline-packed roller coaster, and a 150ft replica of the Statue of Liberty, NYNY is a must-visit attraction teeming with picture-perfect spots. It may not look exactly like the Big Apple, but New York New York offers a combination of the city skyline, live entertainment, state-of-the-art casino, and much more –it’s certainly one of the best Instagram spots in Las Vegas.

Perhaps the perfect location to capture as much of New York New York as possible is from the front of Tropicana Casino, which is right across, or from the various walk paths facing the attraction. Most Instagrammers rave about Brooklyn Bridge’s replica, which is nestled on the walkway that connects New York-New York Hotel & Casino with Park MGM. According to them, this small promenade makes for amazing pics. It’s so realistic that the replica has its own Eataly and Shake Shack.

One thing to note is that NYNY can become too crowded, so make sure to get there first thing in the morning if you want to beat the crowds and snap away unobstructed.

3- The Excalibur

The Excalibur

Address: 3850 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

The Excalibur is one of the most iconic hotels in Las Vegas, and it has its fair share of pomp and fanfare for guests and tourists alike. The hotel has been around since the infancy of The Strip, so it tends to be overshadowed by the newer and grander casinos, hotels, and theme parks that have mushroomed in Vegas in the past few decades.

Nonetheless, the Excalibur stands out as one of the most Instagram-worthy places in Sin City. Perhaps the most recognizable attractions at the hotel are the colorful and hypnotic turrets. Also, check out and get great angles of Excalibur’s iconic moat, pseudo-drawbridge, and crayon-colored towers. Choose a strategic location on the streets between the hotel and NYNY; or from one of the walkways connecting the MGM Grand and New York New York.

4- Life Is Beautiful Mural

Life Is Beautiful Mural

Address: 1020 E Fremont St, Las Vegas, NV 89101,

Las Vegas has a glut of artful and colorful murals to strike a pose with, especially in the downtown area, but the popularity of the Life Is Beautiful mural has taken flight amongst both locals and tourists. This is especially true if you are a fan of the popular hard candies from the American brand Jolly Rancher.

The mural is the brainchild of the Brooklyn-based artist and illustrator Kevin Lyons. If the mural looks quite familiar to you, Kevin Lyons is the designer and artist behind the little monsters in the candy aisle. These funky, fruity characters on Jolly Ranchers candy wrapper will make for a breathtaking backdrop for your Instagram photos.

The goofy little monsters make appearances in all murals done by Lyons around the globe, but this one in Las Vegas takes the cake. These cartoon characters will certainly bring cheer to your trip to Las Vegas and get you more love and comments on Instagram.

5- The “Welcome to Las Vegas” Sign

The sign is roughly a mile and a half from the Strip’s southern end at the close of Las Vegas Boulevard. If you choose to walk there, it should take you around half an hour from the MGM, but you can also take a ride share or drive to the spot.

Alternatively, you can hitch a ride on the Deuce bus, which stops at various points downtown and along the Strip. If you alight at the Four Seasons, stop, you can cut your walk from MGM by about 20 minutes.

As with the most popular places in Vegas, the front of the fountains can get crazily packed, particularly in the evening and at night. As such, you should try to go to the fountain during morning hours when most people are at conferences, their hotel rooms, and other hotspots.

Several restaurants, bars, lounges, and hotel rooms offer a nice background of the Dancing Water Fountain, so you don’t have to be actually in front of it to take ideal photos of the landmark. These make for alternative yet equally great photo ops without the rowdy crowds.

Trevi Fountain

Address: 3570 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109

This recreation Boulevard is less busy and much smaller than the original Roman monument in Italy but is certainly one of the most sought-after Instagrammable spots on the Strip. It’s located at Caesars Palace, right in front of the Forum Shoppes’ entrance.

Time your photo op of the Trevi Fountain at around noon when everyone is busy with other touristy spots. If you come early in the morning, the fountain tends to be foggy. No visit to the Strip can ever be complete without stepping into the infamous Mob Museum, where you will have your mug shot taken. How cool is that, right?

Toping several facts about the Mob Museum in Las Vegas is hard. First, what could be more impressive than having such a museum located in a historic courthouse where mobsters were tried and locked up in the early 1950s? Or that a former FBI agent currently leads the museum’s board of directors.

Over the years, the mega art landscape installation has become one of the most liked photo ops in Las Vegas. It’s just a 30-minute drive from Downtown.

The installation was intended to be viewed for only two years leading up to 2018, but the exhibition was prolonged thanks to its chart-breaking success. The city says it will stay on view at least through the close of 2021.

The stone art is in and of itself impressive, offering one of the most photogenic spots outside of the Strip. 16- Cosmopolitan Suites
