Vegas star Marie Osmond has seen her Vegas residency through to the end despite injuring herself at a show last week.

The American singer has shared the stage at The Flamingo with her brother, Donny, for 11 years. The pair’s long term residency closed tonight with both at center stage.

Marie opened up on last Monday’s episode of The Talk sharing she had “chipped off a piece” of her kneecap during a show in the previous week, but said it wouldn’t stop her from seeing her show through to the very end.

Tonight, her words became truth as she stepped onto the Las Vegas stage one last time.

The singer, 60, told The Tal, “I’m fine. This is the last week of shows at the Flamingo. And so for those of you that have bought tickets for that last week, I will be there.”

“Donny was so sweet. He said, ‘Marie, I can handle the last week,’ and I said, ‘I think they want to see Donny and Marie.’”

She added that she wouldn’t be able to dance much, but would still be able to belt out the same great songs she has been for over a decade.

Back in September, Osmond took a stumble off stage which she felt may have played a part in her most recent injury.

She added, “I’m always OK, and you know, it’s just interesting that it would be so close together. I’ve never fallen before.”

“I think maybe the knee was a little bit not as strong. I probably should have been wearing my brace. But as I made that turn my boot stuck on the floor and then I wasn’t able to turn and I just went down.”

She joked: “I’m pretty black and blue, it’s really pretty.”

Marie admitted that she thought she had broken her knee at first, telling her brother Donny she was unable to put weight on her leg. She then missed the show the following night, leaving Donny to perform solo, but was soon back in action.

Posting a video to Twitter, Osmond wrote: “The show will go on!!! You have all been so amazing these last 11 years, and nothing will stop me from the last few shows @FlamingoVegas. Love you all!! Thank you for your prayers #FlamingoVegas #DonnyAndMarie”

Fans were quick to support the star, with one writing, “Love you, Marie! You can sit at the M&G. See you at the next 4 shows. I will be crying at the last show. Thank you for these 11 years at the Flamingo and almost 50 total.”

The duo’s fans won’t be the only ones sad to see them go, however, with The Flamingo also posting a fond farewell on its social media.

The resort shared, “What started as a 6-week run turned into 11 incredible years of entertainment, laughter and friendship. Thank you, @donnyosmond and @marieosmond You will forever be fabulous in our heart.”
