More and more across the country, entertainment venues and corporate entities are requiring compliance with Covid testing and vaccination requirements. In this regard, Las Vegas is no different.

If you plan to visit Vegas, be sure to check with the venues you plan to visit concerning any Covid requirements and adjust your plans accordingly. Any policies related to Covid-19 can change quickly.

Las Vegas Raiders

This season, those attending Raiders games at Allegiant Stadium must show proof of vaccination. Furthermore, fans must present a Health Pass on the CLEAR mobile phone app. Those who comply will be allowed to enter Allegiant Stadium mask-free. Children between the ages of 2 and 11 who cannot take the vaccine can only attend Raiders games while masked up.

The Raiders will also offer willing fans on-site Pfizer or Moderna vaccinations at Allegiant Stadium; however, those vaccinated at the stadium will still need to wear a mask. Not only that, but Raiders fans must continue wearing masks until fully vaccinated, or two weeks following the second shot.

NAB Show

For its October trade show, the National Association of Broadcasters has mandated that those attending show proof of vaccination. The NAB trade show normally has around 90,000 attendees.

CES 2022

The Consumer Electronics Show will require proof of vaccination at the January 2022 event. The organizers of the event have also considered acceptable proof of a positive antibody test, however, no news on that yet. More than 1,000 tech companies are expected to participate in the show. CES 2019 attracted more than 100,000 attendees from all over the world.

AEG Venues

Starting October 1, both audience and workers at AEG venues will need proof of COVID vaccination. Las Vegas AEG venues include the 2021 Day N Vegas festival and the Theater at the Virgin Hotel.

However, no decision has been made yet concerning mandatory vaccination at Resorts World, which hosts the AEG-operated Theater at Resorts World.

Day N Vegas Festival

AEG organizers of the 3-day hip-hop festival will require all event workers and concertgoers to show proof of a negative COVID test 72 hours prior to the show, or that they are fully vaccinated.

Life is Beautiful

This downtown Las Vegas event featuring food, music, and comedy will require those attending to present proof of a negative COVID test or proof of vaccination.

Smith Center

Proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test will be required for everyone entering Myron’s and Reynolds Hall. Policy details have not yet been released, but the policy will be enforced beginning, September 14, when The Smith Center reopens.

Coachella and the Stagecoach Festivals

Both music festivals, just across the border in California, are presented by a subsidiary of AEG. As such, they will be subject to AEG’s nationwide vaccine mandate. Both festivals will follow AEG company mandates. If you want to go to Coachella or Stagecoach, you’ll need to present a negative COVID test or proof of vaccination.

Live Nation

Beginning October 4, Live Nation plans to require proof of COVID vaccination or a negative test to enter its venues. One popular Las Vegas Live Nation venue is the Brooklyn Bowl at Linq Promenade. The other is the House of Blues at Mandalay Bay.

Las Vegas Venues Not Requiring Proof of Vaccination

A few major venues are not yet demanding proof of vaccination or negative Covid testing. However, vaccine and mask mandates can quickly evolve. Before you go to these venues, check online for the most current requirements.

Allegiant Stadium

Except for Raiders games, Allegiant Stadium does not require proof of vaccination. The requirement for Raiders games is a team policy.

However, regardless of vaccination status, Allegiant Stadium does require attendees of events to wear masks. Also, other events at the stadium could implement their own vaccine requirements.

T-Mobile Arena

The home of the Vegas Golden Knights does not require proof of vaccination to enter. But, the arena has left whether or not to require vaccinations at Golden Knights games up to the team. Thus far, the Golden Knights welcome all of their fans, vaccinated or not.

While AEG does own a portion of the arena the AEG mandate does not apply to the venue. T-Mobile Arena does require everyone over the age of 2 to wear a mask unless they’re eating or drinking.

Las Vegas Ballpark

The ballpark does not require proof of vaccination to enter. However, fans of the Las Vegas Aviators who come to the games are required to wear masks indoors but can go mask-free when outdoors. Also, both the Las Vegas Aviators and the ballpark required all of their employees to be vaccinated. Thus, workers at the ballpark will not be wearing masks.
